Aromatherapy is the art of applying fragrant essential oils and herbs to aid natural healing, vitality and rejuvenation of the body, mind and spirit depending on the individuals needs.

Modern research has indicated that certain essential oils and herbs do have therapeutic and healing properties. Lavender for instance is still used today for burn victims, and the lavender scent is widely used for the treatment of depression and anxiety.

Essential oils and herbs used in aromatherapy can be applied in several ways from massage, inhalation, bathing, compression, creams and salves through to mouthwash. With the correction selection and application of essential oils the benefits can be almost unlimited.
